Hello and welcome to Wayakka, a forum for Australian (and Australian at heart) musical theatre fans, where we can discuss what's on in the professional circles, what we'd like to be happening there, what's happening at less professional levels, and any other musical-related chatter that you want to bring up.
The name Wayakka is from the Kaurna Warra Aboriginal language, and means 'constellation', because, like a constellation, we're a lovely group of stars *waits for the groans to end*

A lovely welcome...
I heard about this place, and thought I should take a look, I have read what you had to say, but stayed hidden as a guest, a lurker... I had the week between Christmas and New Years off. Wasn't much of a rest unfortunately - had the in-laws staying, my wife's grandmother die and then there was a fire at a backpackers lodge in Launceston. The Salvation Army got the call, so I spent from 6:45am to 2pm ferrying backpackers to the Salvos hall, helping get food, clothes, money and make phone calls/emails etc. Not restful at all really  Buff |
