Okay I only caught literally the last few seconds of this interview. I am interesting in buying the interview and have enquired about it but it'll cost me a hell of a lot of money. So I thought I'd raise the question in here. If I do buy it then are there at least 10 people out there who would be interested in a copy of it (@ $20 each or 20 people @ $10 each) to help me cover the costs. If not for me it wouldn't be worth purchasing it even though I would love to hear it. Anyone who can help me out with this sticky situation would be a friend for life

I'd love to hear it, but I'm not sure whether I'd be able to afford that unless we managed to get 20 people. $200? That is quite a bit. Do you know whether there's a transcript around?

Do you know whether there's a transcript around? ~Julia I just purchased the item and it was just a tad less than the $200 mark - in the end it turns out it was a 20 minute interview and the copy I'm getting will be on cd (wav format). It would have cost basically twice as much for the print transcript only (this was via two different company quotes). So if anyone is interested I can do around 10 copies $17.50 on cd (wav format for computers, etc) but it won't include P&H It sounds extreme I know, but it's the only way to break even - but I look at it this way - if Tamsin's star rises as it has in the last two years more than 10 people will want a copy of this interview I have to say as I said I heard like only a few seconds of it but I did catch them talking about her blonde hair and she said something on the lines of deciding to go blonde since she's a natural red hair

Okay I hope the moderators don't mind me discussing this topic here I'm devising a plan of how to get this thing working. An idea I'm throwing around is, is someone interested in buying a cd (if the computer wants to do what I want it to do) <g> which would include the following on it: 3AW interview Oliver montage (the audio from the streaming video that was previously on the Oliver! website) Hair (Tamsin performing one of the songs from Hair) and from Shout - Crazy. If there is enough interest let me know - if not I'll go into my little corner

Don't you dare go hide in that corner - as said previously, I'm interested! I'll pay! Anything!

okay I haven't listened to all of it - won't listen to all of it till I get home tonight - some parts aren't very clear but overall pretty good copy of the interview. One thing I managed to hear was they mentioned how both Tamsin and Peter were in Melbourne performing in different productions - and she said her mother's also down here so it's a family affair and that she's proud of her dad *aww*

Yeah can still make a copy - what I'll do is try and set up the vcr to the computer tonight to see if I can capture the audio for "Easy to Be Hard" from Hair. If so I can then throw it onto the cd as well

Okay, just spoke to my friend at 10 in Sydney. The best he could do would be to dub a copy of Master Control's logging tape. Essentially, that's just a VHS recording taken off-air (like a normal home recording) they do for logging purposes. It will have the date/time stamp on it. Let me know if that would be okay, and he'll try to get the dub done on his late shift on Sunday evening. Oh, and Gossipcom, what's this about "Easy To Be Hard" from HAiR? HAiR is my fave show, I have a HUGE collection of memorabilia; www.geocities.com/ozhair/hairibilia.htmand would be very interested if you've got something of the recent Melbourne run (I was only able to make it to the Sydney run) Cheers everybody Pat

Pat, a normal VHS copy would be absolutely fine - as long as you can hear it and see it I don't really care what format it costs, and price, etc re: Hair. Tamsin was on GMA in May singing "Easy to be Hard" while some of the other Hair cast members were on singing other stuff as well - though I didn't keep those ones on tape. I've got pretty much all the reviews that came out for the show for my site so if you want I can send you them (they're just from online sources). Nadine

Great, thanks That was another I missed Got a great track record, don't I ;D Great Hair site Pat! I went to one of the Melbourne shows but the only memorabilia I have is my program - pretty standard. Oh and about 12 leaflets I grabbed when I bought my ticket, because Tamsin was on them...had to get one for me, one for a friend...one for everyone else I know...what the heck, let's just stuff the entire pile in our bag whilst the clerk isn't looking ;D

what the heck, let's just stuff the entire pile in our bag whilst the clerk isn't looking ;D lmao! Gotta love those Got anymore of those leaflets from Melb left over? Okay it looks like I successfully ripped the Shout! TC tracks + Oliver 6 min audio (which if anyone saw was the audio from the video file that use to be on the official site) and the 3AW interview - just need to connect up that vcr tonight to see if it'll be kind to me You think you missed stuff this week? This week I missed, Tamsin on 3AW (which now I've managed to get), a review I wrote being mentioned on 2UE right at the same time, Tamsin on GMA and today I missed Jacqueline McKenzie and Barry Otto on Mornings with Kerri-Anne - I am asking myself right now - wtf did all my favourites have to be on tv and radio in the same week?

Got anymore of those leaflets from Melb left over? I just counted, and five. And yes I believe I can spare one of those fingers crossed And thanks so much. You know my mother is an avid 3AW listener so we have it on that station 24/7 just about. And of course Tamsin had to be on the one day I go swimming! Oh man! That's gotta hurt. Let me guess - you were hanging on to 2UE all day, then got a bit bored, did some channel surfing, found Tamsin, jaw dropped, and by the time you'd gotten back to 2UE you'd missed it. I've had a similar experience, although not quite as dramatic on either end. I think I've learnt my lesson about GMA now, making sure to pay attention to the entire show every day! Of course now, she's not going to be on for another year or something, on the one day I forget to record it. I can't believe it though - I seem to psychically turn on the TV every time Bert has Marina Prior on, yet the one day of the week he has Tamsin is the day I sleep in or just plum forget. I do love Bert though. And he always seems to have on the stagey people that most other shows forget How do you get both 2UE and 3AW by the way?

I was listening to the radio (via internet) during my lunch break at work when it popped on - I was like arghhh!! ETA: I'm about to burn my first TC cd - this is the lineup for those interested: 6 songs from Shout including Crazy 3AW Interview Oliver (audio from streaming media) Tamsin on GMA performing Easy to Be Hard (though it's about 90% good audio, etc) Now there's a final dilemma though which I should have addressed before - to include her Helpmann Awards speech Btw if you're interested in getting a copy of this cd please PM off the board - it looks like it'll be $15 + P&H (and the cd's almost at 50 mins long)
