A Monday. Hmm. Not sure if that's going to be doable if anyone 'interesting' turns up. But far enough in the future to note down to keep the time free just in case

(All I Need is the Girl by Andrew Koblar this year in Mel). The cast numbers can be a little under rehearsed. This will be WWRY's second Hats Off. I think that might be a first. James

Although sometimes the under-rehearsed ones still manage to be damned funny. Like Eureka's one this year (just! Not 2005 yet!) But the individuals are what make it brilliant or...not.

The Sydney Hats Off Concert is back again on Monday February 7th at 8 pm at the Showroom, Star City. Oz Showbiz Cares / Equity Fights AIDS is proud to join the 2005 Mardi Gras Festival as we join host Garry Scale and a nine piece orchestra, lead by the one and only Michael Tyack to celebrate boys and girls, or, if you will, men and women. Cast members from The Lion King, We Will Rock You and Dirty Dancing will feature along with Peter Cousens, Darryl Lovegrove, Tamsin Carroll, Barry Crocker, Margi de Ferranti, Danielle Barnes, Lucy Durack, Rodney Dobson, Jack Webster, Daniel Scott, Kaye Tuckerman, Trevor Ashley, Deliah Hannah, Shaun Rennie, Lisa Adam, Shauna Jensen, Hayden Tee, Mitzi Macintosh and dozens of beautiful chorus boys and showgirls. Directed by Jason Langley with choreography by Cameron Mitchell and Aaron Cage, this year's Hats Off is one for the boys and the girls with songs like "I am Woman", "All I Need Is The Girl", "Mad About The Boy" and "It's Raining Men", you start to get the picture. Well, no choice then ladies. I'll just have to be crazy enough for the both of us when I leave all this high culture for the boredom of Sydney - for one night, at least ;D
(And at least that one night shan't be boring!)

*sigh* Meanwhile I'll be down in Melbourne rehearsing. The sacrifices I make for my art! (Having said that, it would be marvellous to get schedule and find I'm not actually required that night. *fingers crossed*)
