Sorry, I just had to use that title. Although by date virtue, it should be "The claw and Mildred" ;D
And I wasn't the only person at the show two days running, just ask our evil moderator!
'Suddenly' last night was just wow! I actually made a note of it - this is the most gorgeous performance of this song I've heard so far. And it's already my favourite song from the show to start with.
Um, general review notes. Damn you Simon Gleeson for always making me cry And Michael Cormick for still making me jump even though I know what's coming. (I keep wishing I'd seen 'Beauty & The Beast' but it was here when I wasn't, phooey.) Energy levels on all accounts last night were sky-high, although a few casualties today and all the best to them - good thing tomorrow is a Monday so (hopefully) plenty of chance for some R&R.
Noticed also some delivery changes that had noticed on Thursday but kept in mind to listen out for this weekend just to check were not one-offs etc. Only very tiny details, but love them all - especially Amanda's "God knows I'm always on my knees".
Sorry to people who weren't there who won't be getting the claw and Mildred bit. All I can say is, I spent about an hour last night trying to get to sleep and randomly getting "the claw line" into my head, and absolutely howling with laughter (as it was all built up from when had happened in show, and had had to just duck own head down and try not to explode, etc). The two shows in a row were just too fun for words and not at all too much! It's gonna be all I can do to wait until Friday to see the show again But yay, introduced four more people to the show this weekend!
