Short review as I'm very tired...
This was just a stunning show. Fantastic music (I love good rock), a great band, Iota and Saskia's wonderful voices. But Iota's performance. Wow - just wow. So much range in emotion - I felt every change.
This type of show was not what I was expecting (I didn't know much, if anything about the show before going in) but I really loved it! It certainly showed that musicals don't just have to stick to the formula to produce fantastic results.
Highlight was my gorgeously sweet-natured and timid friend having Iota's groin shoved in his face during a lap dance (can I just say, wow that man has an amazing body!!). And he loved it!
Go and see this if you can. If you do want to avoid being spat on, sit a few rows back though.
[Side note: Baz Luhrmann was in the audience tonight and I met him!! Wow!! So star-struck.]
