I don't have enough time to write properly, but I wanted to know what people's thoughts on this year's Hats Off were. I have to say that my initial thought, though one that at least decreased through the day, was that there seemed an uncomfortable amount of prerecorded music. However, some of the acts were gems, along with some being not so much, so it seems the year as a whole was neither spectacularly good nor spectacularly bad.
However, we'd love to see some spectacularly good again.

I'd love to hear a thorough review as I didn't get to Melb to see it. What was the highlight/lowlight? How was Anthony? Who did what? Please tell.

All Anthony was involved in was One Day More, which was performed by the Phantom cast. He was Enjolras, David Rogers-Smith was Enjolras, Ana Marina and John Bowles were Cosette and Marius, Nadia Komazec was Eponine, John O'May was Javert, and Jackie Rees and Derek Taylor were the Thenardiers.
I'll try to post more thoroughly when I get home and actually have a moment to think.

The Phantom Dancers' take on Swan Lake was my highlight, along with Centrestage's performance (Overture/Here I Am from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels). Oddly, I'd just been thinking earlier that DRS would make a great choice for TPC...not least because I dearly want to see it again

.....
My god, could I fit any more stupidity into one week? I think I need a holiday. Yes, David was Valjean. *goes off to search for a new brain since this one is obviously faulty*

Does anybody have a set list of who did what? Wish I'd been there. I love these nights - get to see everybody's show off numbers in one go.
