Hi I've been lurking on this site for a few weeks now and after reading it, realise how lucky I am to live in UK. In the last week alone, I have been lucky to see 1 amateur show (Scarlet Pimpernel) 1 drama school production of Chaplin and two west end productions. The first was Hairspray with Michael Ball and Mel Smith which was so much fun, and Sound of Music. (2nd time in 5 weeks). I am the parent of a daughter who is in her final year of drama school outside London and also part owner of 2 drama groups. We have just finished High School musical with our juniors, are in the process of doing Toad of Toad hall, lots of fun rehearsing and our next show is Bugsy Malone next August. Our senior group start rehearsing at the start of the year doing Scrooge. In the next few weeks we are going to see Snow White, Singing in the Rain, A my name is Alice, Little women, Billy Elliot and that takes us up to the beginning of February, there could be others in between. Sorry dont mean to brag but I do enjoy this site as you are all so enthusiastic.
