Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in a little 2004 retrospective - what did you see, which did you like best, etc?
I'll let someone else start ;D

Are you talking Pro productions, or anything at all? If it's professional, I saw: Lion King - thought it was fantastic visually, OK vocally (with a couple of exceptions) The Producers - nup, never again, a waste of my money Buff

Well there's an interesting question for us isn't there???
What did I even see in 2004?
From memory I think I only saw WWRY (but that might have even been 2003 was it?) and Eureka in Australia. Loved them both. WWRY was better (sorry guys!!)
In London favourite show was WWRY for Mig and Peter, but the rest of the show was great too!
And fave show in NY was definately RENT. Gee I'm predictable! Second fave show in NY was Avenue Q though!

May I please plead exemption here? Bah! no fun Buff, anything at all. Just...your pick of the year. Anything you may have seen that you never mentioned. That sorta thing. Aside from TPC's shows, all I can really remember seeing were Urinetown and Eureka..

Erm...
*thinks*
New York:
Wicked in January, The Boy From Oz in February, Sweeney Todd in March, Avenue Q in June, The Frogs in August, Forbidden Broadway in August, Richard III in October, Cam Jansen in November, and Pacific Overtures...no, wait, that one was in January.
London:
Democracy, Anything Goes, The Bible (by the Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged people), and Much Ado About Nothing in July.
...That's it, as far as I can remember, unless you count college/high school shows.

Oh my... I'm so jealous you've seen so many shows on Broadway! AND that you've seen Wicked! NOT FAIR! I was desperate for tickets in May... silly Tony season! What was your fave show in New York? Wicked?

Avenue Q, without a doubt. In fact, I'm seeing it again in February.
I do, however, live considerably closer to NYC than anyone else on this board, as I'm a 40 minute train ride away when I'm at home and an hour and a half train ride away when I'm at school.
This was actually a light year - as far as I can remember, I didn't see anything in April, May, September or December! While not seeing anything in April or September is normal (since I'm at school the entire time except for major Jewish holidays, when I'm busy praying), not seeing anything in May or December is honestly rather weird. *nods*

Hmmm let's see...
Urinetown has always been a favourite of mine so it was great to actually see it in Australia!
Always love seeing Mamma Mia.
Saturday Night Fever - I can definitely live without.
WWRY - yes well.....
I can't remember what else I saw in 2004 aside from a few plays, The Underpants being my favourite of the year.
