I just wanted to start a thread in here. I was fortunate enough to perform Godspell last year and absolutely loved it. It runs a close second to performing Les Miserables the year before that. Has anyone else seen the show? Any comments/thoughts? Buff  |

Unfortunately I haven't seen the show yet, although it was on up here last season, though I only found out fairly soon before my Les Mis run, so there wasn't really time to work out when to go see it. I really want to see it at some point now, though, after hearing the music.
Did anyone from here see Loyola's Godspell?

Anyway, I was in Godspell and it was the most fun theatre experience I've ever had! Not only was the cast and crew great and the production a huge success, but the show itself touches you in a way that no other show can... anyone who's been in it knows exactly what I'm talking about. And as for anyone who hasn't been in it- seek out a production and find a way to be involved NOW!  -John |

And as for anyone who hasn't been in it- seek out a production and find a way to be involved NOW! Preach it brother! I can distinctly remember one show (a Friday night) in the Prologue thinking "This is where I'm meant to be!" Not just in a "I've found my spot on the stage finally" way but "This is the show I'm meant to be doing right now". It was a whole "in the zone" kind of thing. I love Godspell. If someone asked me if I want to do it again, I'd be there in a flash! Buff |
