Can anyone give me a list of shows written by Sondheim? The only one I know of is "Pippin" (I'm pretty sure that's one of his : because we are singing "Corner of the Sky" in choir - quite a good arrangement for SATB. I just don't know what else he has done. People say how good his stuff is, but I have no idea what other shows he has written. Any help? Buff

I'm not overly familiar with Sondheim either, although I've heard a couple of his songs on various recordings and they are pretty much what everyone describes them to be.
These are all his shows,

Evening Primrose Follies The Frogs A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum Getting Away With Murder Gypsy Into the Woods A Little Night Music Marry Me a Little Merrily We Roll Along Pacific Overtures Passion Putting It Together Saturday Night Side By Side By Sondheim Sunday in the Park With George Sweeney Todd West Side Story Wise Guys You're Gonna Love Tomorrow

I'm pretty sure Pippin isn't one of his - 99.9% sure. And, Wise Guys (his newest work) was changed to Gold and then renamed as Bounce! Can't wait to see how it goes down Sondheim is my God - it is a fact If you want his best work (in my own, personal, opinion) get OBC Sweeney Todd, OBC Into The Woods or OBC Sunday In The Park . . . Gypsy and West Side Story are probably his two best-known works to the general public I would imagine (but he only did the lyrics for these and a tiny bit of composing).
