So, assuming we have some fellow SJS fans, what are your fave shows of his? Musically, mine is Sweeney Todd - the OCR is just . . . incredible. As an all-round show, I am thinking it is probably Into The Woods - another fantastic show. So, what about y'all . . .

Well, I haven't seen[/] any of Sondheim's shows as such, but there are a lot of shows I love which I haven't seen. I love singing Green Finch and Linnet Bird from Sweeney Todd, and what I've heard from that one, I like, but I also like what I've heard of Into The Woods.

You'll probably shoot me for this, but there were actually two amateur productions of Sweeney Todd recently, but I was too busy to go to either. Hopefully next time.

However, I did see a hairdresser's called "Sweeney Todd's" once, which kept me amused for a while *g*

Mine would probably have to be or Into The Woods! I think one of the reasons Stephen Sondheim is my fave composer is because my grandfather knows him! I even have an autograph he signed for me!

Personally, I'd love to hear more Sondheim, the next time anything comes to Broadway, I'll probably go.

Though I was watching Channel 2 a few months back when they showed Sweeney Todd - I wouldn't mind someone reviving that musical here again.
