A lot of G&S productions recently seem to be taking the stories and putting them in a more modern setting, and the ones which don't openly change the setting often change the jokes so they're more relevant.
What do you think about this? I can see how some of the jokes need to be altered, but it seems a bit odd seeing the stories twisted.
