Too late, I succumbed and bought ticketsSTCThe Annual Pier Group Cabaret - bookings now open! Now in its 15th year, the Pier Group Cabaret fundraiser will feature a fabulous line-up of performers including Paula Arundell, Blazey Best, Tamsin Carroll, Peter Cousens, Helen Dallimore, Vanessa Downing, Margi di Ferranti, Arthur Dignam, Avigail Herman, Eloise Oxer, Leah Purcell, Hayden Tee and Andrew Tighe. There'll also be a raffle featuring brilliant prizes including lunch for six people at acclaimed restaurant Bilson’s, with a mystery special guest. Funds raised for The Pier Group support special projects at STC, which have included the development of the STC Archives and Library. Tickets are $60 per head, $600 for a table of 10. BYO food, wine and table settings for a picnic at the theatre! Sunday 14 November 6pm, the Big Rehearsal Room at The Wharf. To book phone the STC Box Office on (02) 9250 1777. ***** Tamsin and Helen performing *eek!* ETA: I just realised there's a pic of Tamsin and Hayden on the back page of the paper today - trying to find an online one - if not I'll scan it *sigh* if anyone's wondering Tamsin's still got her brunette look

The whole thing was superb. I'll post more tomorrow when I'm not on 3 hours sleep. But suffice to say I think I've found a new contender for the cover version of "The Look of Love" - Diana Krall might have a new contender to deal with in terms of favouritism
