Okay, I'll post about last night's Hats Off later. I'll just say that it was bloody long and bloody hot, but there was some great material. It was focusing mainly on Australian musicals and giving exposure to some of our cabaret acts, something sorely needed in Melbourne, so kudos for that. Hopefully I won't be in any more 3-person audiences!
Anyway, the big news of the night is that the long-awaited Sideshow Alley will be produced professionally next year, so be prepared. It'll be brilliant, and it's been a long time coming, so when it comes I hope people make it feel welcome!
Also, I don't think I've mentioned it here yet, but a recording of Matthew Robinson's Metro Street is on the way, so watch out for that. I'll let you know when it appears.
