Mrs Buff watches "At the Movies" on the ABC on Wednesday nights. I caught the last bit of it on last nights show and they reveiwed a documentary called "Broadway: The Golden Age". It looks very interesting - lots of interviews with the stars of Braodway from 1940's to 1960's. I know it's at cinema Nova in Lygon street. I picked up some fliers some weeks ago and definitely mean to catch it

It's excellent. I have a copy which I purchased through amazon.com in November. The DVD has extras such as the stars arriving at the premiere and forty minutes of the follow up Golden Age 2 which features Patti Lupone, Nathan Lane, James Naughton etc.
