In August 2009, a national competition was launched to find six of Australia's brightest young stars. Now, these contestants will perform to become the inaugural winner of the ANZ Rob Guest Endowment Award.

Hosted by Bert Newton, the finalists will share the stage with guest artists that include Manina Prior, Lucy Durack and members ofthe cast of WICKED, Caroline O'Connor and members of the cast of CHICAGO, Anthony Callea, Rhonda Burchmore, Peter Cousens, Tina Cross and the Australian String Quartet.
