Hi all. Are you Australia's biggest musical fan?? ABC TV would like to meet you. We're doing a documentary following the making of the Australian musical - Dusty. We would like to talk to fans about their favorite musicals and stars of musical theatre. If you fit the bill, please contact me on my email address. eriksen.ben@abc.net.auI look forward to hearing from you.

Well, we have to support the national broadcaster.
Why? Didn't you contact him Buff?

Um, no I didn't. I don't know enough performers to be considered "Australia's greatest fan" Buff

Yeah, but I figure Australia's real biggest fan is too busy to stick their head up long enough to be found in such a search.

I guess running a Tamsin site means I might fit the bill - but not as much as Sally, Julia and co! I'd be interested in it but I'm going to be overseas come Sunday, so not sure if I would be that big a help.

I contacted Ben.
Unfortunately, there is no budget to send a film crew to FNQ to interview me, but Ben interviewed me over the phone.
It was great. It, essentially, was the only opportunity I will ever get to talk about my passion. No one else ever gives me free reign. Ben actually WANTED to hear what I had to say - even my own family tell me to shut up when I get going about the theatre.
Imagine, being able to talk about musical theatre, non-stop, for 30 mins with an audience that isn't forced to listen to you!!
I'd do it again! It's a shame I can't be in Melbourne to be more involved in the project. Oh well, cest la vie!
Cheers Jen

Hey Buff
I don't think you need to know performers or performances to qualify as a musical fan - just love the world and what it has to offer - as soooo many people here certainly do.
I reckon any number of people on this forum would certainly fit the bill!
I love the theatre, that's all that matters to me! Give it a go, Buff, what have you got to lose?
Cheers Jen
