These are just a couple of things I noticed at theatrepeople.com.au I'm not so sure about the stage version of Moulin Rouge. It's a great movie, but I don't like it so much as a musical. It's too sensationalist for my liking, with too little musical value. Other thoughts? Now, the vampire musical should be interesting. I wonder who would be cast. And I think there's a character in the books called Marius. Wow, this will be confusing ~Julia

A Vampire musical, now that I would love to see... I can just see all the costumes and the sets... (please excuse my 'small' vampire obsession)

It would actually be the second vampire musical, I think. There was also 'Dance of the Vampires'. which starred Michael Crawford on Broadway, but that was pretty much agreed to have been a flop. Hopefully this one will fare better ~Julia

Poor MC, he put so much into that musical.
But yeah, Dance of the Vampires got pretty bad reviews but I think the concept of a vampire musical is excellent although I wouldn't want to it be funny, I think a darker musical would work so much better with that theme.
Although, sad as this is, I've always been really scared of vampires, more than any normal person would be. Yeah, that's my big fear...give me spiders any day of vampires.
