Now, as a bit of an indication of what sorts of musicals everyone likes, what's your favourite musical? (And yes, this is an opportunity to plead for more boards here ) At the moment, mine's Les Miserables, but I'll always have a soft spot for Phantom of the Opera ~Julia

My fave musicals would have to be Chicago and Songs for a New World.

Ah yes, Songs For a New World is the JRB one, isn't it? I've heard a lot about it, but don't really know very much about it. I might be doing a production of JRB's Parade as my second musical for the year, though. From what I've heard, it seems like he might be the next great composer on Broadway.

It is. I love his songs. I auditioned for Parade one time but didn't make it in. They are doing Songs for a new world at my theatre this year. I am so happy. I don't know what it is about . All I know is that it has good songs.

*Takes a deep breath* Okay, my faves are, but I DEFINITELY will forget some, Phantom, Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Follies, Mystery of Edwin Drood, Carousel and Camelot. It's in order until it gets to Follies, then it becomes random. And my first three choices were on here, so I'm happy.

My favourite is Les Miserables. I don't think I'll ever tire of listening to the music. Other favourites are PotO, Godspell and Anything Goes (such a fun show to do) Buff

Favourite musicals? Eep, hard choice. But... RENT, A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess and Les Mis is definitely up there.

Lots, but I do have a soft spot for Rocky Horror... since that was the first show I saw with my friends and I ended up getting all embarrassed by the people 'warming up' the audience...

Les Miserables, TPOTO, Miss Saigon, Chess, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell, and Jekyll & Hyde all come to mind... though I'm sure I'm forgetting some...
