However, I do have videos of the Broadway revival cast in rehearsal! A nice cast overall. It's just a shame about the Fantine, I think. Hopefully she was just singing like a dying person would sing Buff

One can only hope! I'd also like to know what the barricade boys are doing throwing the flag around like that

Well, you could call the French revolutions forerunners to the American, so why not!

LOL! No, they're just doing what the London cast has been doing for years. I've always liked the way that tablecloth gets thrown around in London.

Funny, I got the impression my London friends were as surprised to see that as I was. Maybe it's just that it's so much more obvious without a set. Although I'll see for myself in a month

Well I did notice when I saw Les Mis in London a couple of times a few weeks ago, that the tablecloth throwing has been toned down a bit lately. In the late 90s they used to throw it around all over the place.
It's a little scary to think that I saw 18 shows between 9 and 21 September!

Well, you could call the French revolutions forerunners to the American, so why not! Umm... American Revolution = 1775-6 French Revolution = 1789 on Right.

Some remind me to just keep my mouth shut when I've been doing linguistics all day ;D
And that is impressive. I don't think I'll get to quite as much while I'm there. You saw pretty much everything, then?

Well, quite a few, taking into consideration that I saw Les Mis four times (or rather five as I also saw the concert they did at the Mermaid Theatre which was broadcast on BBC2 last Sunday), Wicked twice and Evita twice (it was such a pleasure to see a production which differed substantially from the Hal Prince production).
Apart from that I saw Mary Poppins, Avenue Q, Last Five Years, The History Boys (in Birmingham), Billy Elliott, Titus Andronicus, The Alchemist, Rock n' Roll (the new Tom Stoppard play with Rufus Sewell, Sinead Cusack and Brian Cox) and The Tempest in Stratford with Patrick Stewart (strange production).
Not bad really ;D

It's a little scary to think that I saw 18 shows between 9 and 21 September! Dude, that's IMPRESSIVE ;D I should go and count up mine...but that would probably also tell me how much money I have spent (and how much I have yet to spend!) And I really shouldn't be posting here of all places, considering Les Mis isn't even remotely on the cards

Still nothing I can do to convince you? ;-) Re-cast some roles? Add in a Thursday matinee or something so I actually have the TIME? I'm still freaked out that I'm going to have to give something a miss because there's only about six actual gaps left, and I think four shows already to fill those, unless I bump something! (Or convince someone that they don't want to see The Apple Tree because seeing it twice, while fabulous, is eating up time that could be spent with other shows )
