Hi there,
sorry to stumble in like that. I am from Germany and I am a member of a semi-professional musical company. We have staged productions like "The Scarlet Pimpernel", "Jekyll and Hyde" and "Frankenstein" and are currently looking for a new musical. We learned that there will be a German translation of "Paris" available soon and we are seriously considering that. The problem is that it is very hard to come by material at the moment. The German publisher is not able to give us any sheet music until April (because it looks as if some of it is edited/rewritten a the moment?). For us to decide if Paris is a production that is doable, it would be very good to get at least a little insight in the music, especially of the chorus pieces.
Is there a book with sheet music from Paris published in Australia? Or does any of you have any parts of the piano score or even the full score which you could share with me? I am really not trying to ripping anyone off here, we will have to get the official material in German anyway as soon as it is available, it just would help enormously if we could take a look at the music beforehand. A full libretto would also be helpful, so far we have only listened to the CD.
Any help and hints appreciated, Capella

You'd be best to contact David Spicer through the website, I think. www.davidspicer.com/paris.htmI'd be very interested to hear how that goes, though! There are some very interesting German adaptations of shows out there, and I did notice some songs from Paris on a German-produced CD fairly recently. And it is the sort of show that seems to get a new twist whenever it's staged. There was once a libretto floating around, but... wait, I just thought of somewhere I could find it. Here! libretto.musicals.ru/text.php?textid=564&language=1It's had some changes made since then, most notably Achilles' Leader song, which has been rewritten, but it should serve as a guide.

Hello Talissa,
thanks for the link to the libretto. That's a great help. I will keep you posted about our progress, if you like. Nothing is decided yet. While I think of ourselves as a semi-professional ensemble, officially we are only an amateur company and it is not decided yet if the German publisher will trust us with a German premiere of the musical (normally premiere rights go only to professional productions). But the same publisher has granted us rights for a try-out production of a brand new musical last time, so it might work out.
I really loved what I heard of Paris so far and I would love to do it.
Greetings, Capella
