A friend's asked me to spread the word a bit more about a fundraising concert her uni charity group's putting on this Friday night. It should be a good night, and not much to pay when you look at the cause, so if anyone's free, my friend would really appreciate if you go along. Here's her email.
Just letting you know that theres a "SOUNDWAVE" Soirre performance nite at Monash Parkville this Friday 6th of May (down Royal Pde, a few mins past melb uni, on opposite side of road).
Time: 6:30 - 10:30pm
Place: VCP Cossar Hall
Cost: $12 , inc. fingerfood and refreshments
Proceeds are going towards Remedy's (uni charity grp) World Vision sponsor child, as well as funding for a health care centre for the developing Kirabati islands.
It's going to be a pretty laid back kind of night - with a variety of instrumental and vocal acts, of different styles...
