I'm sorry but is this a joke?
For those of you who haven't read or seen Peter Shaffer's play Equus, VERY briefly it is about a teenage boy, Alan, who is opressed spiritually by society and creates a personal religion involving horses. When it all becomes too much he stabs their eyes out, leading to his sessions with psychiatrist Dysart. Dysart must 'fix' Alan but at the same time feels like he is cutting out Alan's soul and passion, making him another conformed person.
It's an amazing play and very shocking. There is also a full nudity scene involving the character Alan. Yeah OK Daniel Radcliffe is good profile, but come on! He doesn't suit the part AT ALL and even if he did, you would have 'a line of 14 year old girls around the block claiming to be big Shaffer fans, but only want to see Harry Potter's magic wand', says a magazine article I read.
So true.

I must admit - I laughed very loud when I read that last sentance ;D I read that there will actually be some audience on stage watching as well. Buff
