A Sydney-sider jealous of a Melbournian? Will wonders ever cease? I'd say this one will be touring. It's playing at the Princess, which is where PotO and (I think) Les Mis played, so it's a fairly big one. ~Julia

The show's rumoured to be coming to Sydney after it has a pretty long run in the standards of musicals these days. It'll move up here along with Hairspray. Considering they thought they couldn't stage anything in Sydney since Mamma Mia was at the Lyric and the Lion King opens at the Capitol - since it's been announced that MM will be closing in 15 weeks time it means the theatre will come available at the end of the year - so we might see a musical in there after all

Latest casting news:
Reg Livermore and Tom Burlinson will be taking the lead roles, and joining them will be Bert Newton and Chloe Dallimore, who have both landed main roles.
