The winner of the inaugural Pratt Prize for Music Theatre in 2002, Sideshow Alley will be having its production workshop debut this Sunday (August 17, 2003) @ Chapel off Chapel.
The headline cast includes Greg Stone, Tamsin Carroll and Robyn Arthur (all TPC members).
My guess is for more info contact Chapel off Chapel.

Just a Sideshow Alley update:

THE music theatre community was out in force on Sunday for the premiere of Australia's newest musical, Sideshow Alley.
Singer Marina Prior rubbed shoulders with Playbox chief Aubrey Mellor and composer Jonathon Mills. And if the buzz after the Chapel Off Chapel workshop performance is any guide, this tale of two boxers and a migrant girl in '50s Australia is bound for glory.
"It has great potential,'' Mellor says. "I loved the circus element, the plot turns and the outcasts theme.''
Jason Marriner, of Marriner Theatres, calls it "a strong show''.
"It's hard getting new musicals from page to stage,'' he says, "and this is a big step forward.''
Sideshow Alley, by Gary Young and Paul Keelan, won the Pratt Foundation Prize for Music Theatre in 2002.

Does anyone have any more information about the show itself? I haven't heard anything about it apart from this. Do you have a synopsis? Who wrote it?

Okay can I please ask the theatre companies to stop with all their good productions next year? Sideshow Alley was officially picked up by the Playbox Theatre (VIC) for their 2004 season - at this moment the cast isn't confirmed for it. www.theage.com.au/articles/2003/10/03/1064988401489.htmlNadine
