No, it isn't Anthony. Rather Todd McKenney and Rachael Beck, who happening to be using a fairly similar theme...
But anyway, they have two concerts coming up on Saturday 20 March, at 2pm and 8pm at Melbourne Concert Hall.
They'll be performing pieces from Singin' in the Rain, West Side Story, Chicago and others, as well as special tributes to Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Peter Allen.
Tickets range from $35.78 to $77.38 (Don't ask. I don't know), and can be booked through Ticketmaster7.

And just look at that. Student prices seem to be the same for any section. I'm so there. ;D

And that'd be good. I want to book tickets really soon, though.

If you do a search for "melbourne concert hall" (as a venue) or "pops orchestra", it'll come up. Just a little creative searching ;-)

lol, or just go to ticketmaster and assume they know what's on which they do! got my ticket - stalls, row A, seat 29, for the matinee. would have liked to go to the evening one but it's easier to specify "can't work Saturday" rather than "can't work Saturday close or Sunday open"! ;D love the student price too, very affordable! a wonderful afternoon financed on only two hours' work so is anyone else going to be at the matinee?

Drat, I got the tickets today, but for the evening performance. Next time we should arrange to go to the same one.
Anyone going to the evening performance?

Aww, it'd be fun to go to the same show sometime, have a little messageboard meet-up! Especially since I always seem to go to everything alone. Well I have possibly gotten a friend coming this time...someone who doesn't understand that if she doesn't hurry up and get a ticket, we probably won't even be in the same section Get yourself a good seat? Last time I was at the concert hall (Deep In My Heart, Marina Prior et al) I was about as far back and as high up as possible, so this will be a nice change. The singers won't just be little specks and I won't get vertigo

B19-20, so definitely happy.
I would have gone by myself if I wasn't going with Sare. Definitely next time we can see something together.

Wow Julia!
You got us the good seats! You rock chick! We should meet up so I can give you the money!
Hey if people are going to the matinee, and we're going to the evening, we should all grab dinner between the two shows in southbank or something? What do you all think?
Luv Sare xx
