I think it's almost a good thing I'm not at all able to get to Sydney, because I'd want to go to both! But definitely Sunset Boulevard...
I need to know what Michael Cormick's doing after this. I do hope he isn't going straight back to London.

I'm torn - I'm torn!
Actually, I'm definately going to Sunset if I can get tickets, but I'm torn about whether or not to go to the opening concert! Torn!!

I'm sad now I didn't get to go....... a lack of money combined with too many assignments and too many rehearsals made it impossible...... On the upside, I got Lady Macbeth so I'm stoked! *dances* But I'm still sad about missing Anthony in a rare Sydney performance

Congratulations on Lady Macbeth!
And as for the concert, if it's any consolation, I've heard that the sound was fairly shocking, to the point of the crackling on some of the mics nearly making them hard to hear.
I'm about to make a vast generalisation here, but what is it with Sydney outdoor performances and bad sound? There were problems at Carols in the Domain, weren't there?

I was going to go but ended up going to Talking Heads on Saturday instead so basically between that and going to the Swans on Sunday I had no money so I couldn't go to the Opening or SB

www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/04/05/1081017090044.htmlThere was a review in the Sydney Morning Herald of the Sunset Boulevard concert. Fairly glowing, especially with respects to Ms Connelli. Although Chelsea Plumley also seems to have been fairly universaly praised in most of the reviews I've seen around, as well.

Congratulations on Lady Macbeth! Thank you *grins* ;D And as for the concert, if it's any consolation, I've heard that the sound was fairly shocking, to the point of the crackling on some of the mics nearly making them hard to hear. Well, a slight consolation that is.... but still - Anthony is NEVER in Sydney! The one time he is, I have to miss it
