OSCEFA, who do the Hats Off concerts every year, have the following event this Sunday night in Melbourne:
If you can come be sure to bring your spare change as I'll be selling raffle tickets on the night.

Why Sunday? I get the feeling that was a rhetorical question but I'll give an answer anyway.
I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that it's a charity event, and Sunday is the day that most professional performers are least likely to be booked for something else.
What's wrong with Sunday's anyway?

I go out on Sunday nights, and hate missing it, especially this week, since half my friends will be busy with Comedy Festival, so someone has to turn up at least.
And yes, it was rheotorical ;-)
Although if the Full Monty cast are as unemployed as they were when I last spoke to Paul Hanlon, that shouldn't be an issue for them, at least.

That's pretty much the way in that line of work. Anyway, they announce the dates long before they confirm the cast. The next one is Sunday 26th of Sept. James
