Has anybody heard of this musical Wireless that's playing at the Black Box in Melbourne this week (Thurs, Fri, Sat). I'm pretty much no chance to see it but I'm wondering what I'm missing.
Does anyone know if it's original music cos the description on Ticketmaster makes it sound like it might just be popular songs. Anyway, here's the spiel.

“Wireless” written by David Gauci, (who also performs as the protagonist of the work,) is a musical play which in a very humorous and satirical manner explores how music has influenced one man’s way of thinking and shaped his approach to life.
The audience follows through the course of the play with Davids sessions with his psychiatrist as he, a cabaret singer, attempts to come to terms with his obsession with his music and how it pervades his life.
“Wireless” is an unashamed tribute to the music and songs of the 70’s which David exuberantly brings to life, to the increasing frustration of his dogmatic therapist who tries to maintain some order to these increasingly “musical sessions”. The stage becomes an area where time and place are constantly shifting, where one is allowed glimpses into David’s mind as he delves into his past and other places in his life as he deals with issues such as family, religion, childhood, relationships and sexuality in order to seek answers to its many strange and beautiful contradictions.
