And finally, a cast list for Carols in the Domain. Some good ones there, but not enough to make me want to dash right up to Sydney, especially if Kane does a repeat of last year and does both carols Oh, and Santa Claus was a surprise. The list of performers can't make up for her co-hosting the event *sigh*

And here's the Candlelight line-up.
Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino, Caroline O'Connor, Rob Mills, Peter Brocklehurst, David Campbell, Sara Storer, Human Nature, Kate Ceberano, Rhonda Burchmore, Hi-5, Paulini, Emmanuel Carella, Dannielle Gaha, Denis Walter, Tery Gill, the cast of Saturday Night Fever, Humphrey B. Bear, the Australian Girls Choir, Douglas Heywood's Carols by Candlelight choir and the National Boys Choir
No Kane, though? Or rather, Silvie without Kane? Who's going to sing The Prayer?! Has Caroline done these carols before? Recently, I mean?

I'll put my money on Paulini singing Amazing Grace - she's got a new Christmas album out called "Amazing Grace".
She was Tina Arena's supporting act - and last night she sang "Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas" and "Amazing Grace".

And I've just found a 'small' Carols by Candlelight whose line-up easily dwarfs that of either major one. www.kingston.vic.gov.au/Page/page.asp?Page_Id=832&h=02004 Mordialloc Carols By the Bay A dazzling, star-studded night of fun & Christmas spirit. Where? Peter Scullin Reserve, Mordialloc Foreshore. When? Sun. Dec 19. Pre-concert entertainment to start at 6.30pm featuring The Jellybugs and the ever popular Humphrey B Bear with the main Carols Concert at 8.15pm. Hosted by Network 10's debonair weatherman Mike Larkan, our extravagant carols feature a sparkling line up of pop, jazz, blues and opera stars - plus Santa, the RAAF Central Band, ballet performances and more! Bring your friends, family, picnic rugs, candles & get there early to secure a spot on the hill. Reserve seats at the front of stage are available for $10 each - call 9580 8841. Line-up includes: Annalisa Kerrigan (Concert & Operatic performer) 'King Mondo' Ross Wilson Rachael Beck & Ian Stenlake (Stars of hit musical 'Eureka') Kate Kendall ('Stingers' star) Pippa Grandison (Actor & Singer) Rhonda Burchmore (Star of Musical Theatre, Opera, Jazz & Cabaret) Nichaud Fitzgibbon (Jazz performer) Jane Clifton (Jazz singer, Actor & Author) Darryl Cotton (Cotton, Keys & Morris) Lucy Gale (Soloist & female lead in Grand Wazoo) Roger Lemke (Opera Australia) Duck Cameron (Magician) The Bear St Ballet School RAAF Central Band with music director, Flight Lieutenant Steve Wright Roxanne Dew (Soloist with RAAF Central Band) I plan to be there with bells on (as will Rachael, most likely), and tinsel, and a pretty Christmas ribbon, so if you decide to go along, say hi. It'll be so nice having people who can actually sing doing carols, and not an Aus Idol person to be seen!!! ;D

While I'm at it, there are slightly less impressive carols events in Stonnington this weekend, so if you're busy on Sunnight, you won't miss out entirely.

Don't miss the spectacular fireworks finale at 9.30pm (residents close to Como Park are advised to keep pets indoors during this time - the fireworks will run for approximately five minutes).
Proceeds to Prahran Neighbourhood House.
Carols at Central Park Saturday 18 December, 7.30pm-9.30pm

I plan to be there with bells on (as will Rachael, most likely), and tinsel, and a pretty Christmas ribbon, so if you decide to go along, say hi. Big ribbons please so you are findable Or how about Medusa hair and flashing lights? ;D A big sign? Could walk myself to Central Park one if can be bothered. Now why can't certain people go there instead of making me trip all the way out to Mordi? Zone two!

Shock horror! And no, there won't be a repeat of Medusa hair any time soon. It tore my hair to pieces far too badly (Although it did look really really cool). I'll let you know whereabouts I am when I settle myself, though, so hopefully you'll be able to find.
