lol James- it's like a Mastercard commercial!
I did think of you when Christina came on the stage - it was definitely a deja-vu moment when the three of them sang - mind you that's when I was thinking dammit I wish I had seen them sing it in Melbourne - but the performers chose their pieces last night - so when Tamsin came out singing Into the Woods - it didn't surprise me one bit because of her being a Sondheim fan. (ETA: sorry about the misspelling of Tyran - it was late when I typed that up!)
Julia - not even going there - maybe Simon was on his honeymoon j/k I have no idea why he wasn't part of it last night - then again only 4 performers from Eureka were part of it *g*

Simon might still be in London. I thought I heard somewhere he got something there, but I'm possibly just making that up. But surely they could have at least found a tenor. They're not in that short supply, are they?

For those Eureka obsessed girls out there you'll be happy to know they sang "Brave New World" from the musical which comprised of Ian, James, Chris and Scott Irwin singing it. *g* Not happy to know! Incredibly jealous and sulking Although it's a good thing I didn't know they were going to do that prior to the event or I would have gone up for it without any hesitation. Still can't picture Scott as Grey. I keep seeing him as George. So he's Grey bouncing around in tennis whites which is almost as amusing as the other Greys who have passed through my mind. Btw Nadine my phone died last night when I got your sms. So I'm not a meanie who doesn't reply

I thought Simon was supposed to be working on the new Gail Edwards musical in London... can never remember the name of it.... That'd be The Far Pavilions. And look I managed to find the website www.thefarpavilionsmusical.com/ (love those really obvious urls) Didn't know anything about connecting Simon to it though. Though that would be nice.

Well since we weren't exactly sure of his whereabouts I joked that he might have been on his honeymoon (or planning his wedding) Um do you mean this? Because he's listed in the cast list *g*

Oh good, nice to know I wasn't imagining it. Good for him! Just so long as London doesn't steal him forever. Although to tell the truth, I can't really see him doing without the sun for too long. It looks like it'll be a gorgeous show. I'd love to see it.

What a line up! Ty sure knows how to do it!!! And the children-focussed cause has such validity and, to my knowledge, this is the only event of its kind with that sole outcome in mind. For those who can't afford to go however, or the airfare, please go have a look at the cast list of the 2 single CD, THE WAVE OF LOVE which was done by a whole lot of Melbourne theatre artists. You'll find the full press release under 'Professional News' - THE WAVE OF LOVE. You can get one from www.middle8.comfor just $10 bucks! (+GST, P & H) Best to you all, WILL

I don't think he'll be planning a wedding for quite a while.

Good news I believe I have convinced one of my friends in England to go see TFP. Only problem is she wants me to see DD in return (However since that doesn't open until June, hopefully that part of the favour will be forgotten by then!)
