What's happened with the Green Room awards? Have they managed to come and go without anyone at all noticing? Or aren't they happening this year? Or are they just putting them later in the year? It's just that I'm certain that by this time last year, the nominations had been announced and the awards ceremony had been and gone, but this year, not a peep.
Does anyone know?

Not losing your mind They're usually held every 2nd year - though sometimes that changes - though it looks like they've gone back the every 2nd year form again *grr*

Okay, nice to know. I was rather confused by the fact that they had them two years in a row the last two years, and we had so many good performances in the last year, I was really looking forward to seeing who'd be nominated.

Any guesses as to who will get nom'd apart from The Producers and Urinetown?
I'm hoping that TPC productions pop up in there somewhere.

David Campbell definitely deserves a mention for Carousel, considering the difference he made to the show. And I'd like to see a couple of noms for HS. Best Actor will be interesting, since I'd expect Kane Alexander to get a nom for Urinetown as well as David. Hopefully Eureka will get some, too. Ah well, we'll know in three days!

Julia we have to stop posting at the exact same moment TPC productions must have been ineligible this year. ETA: Okay they weren't ineligible since Nikki got a nom but wtf is with only 2 nominees in Lead Actress? They could have thrown at least Marina or Tamsin in there as well.

There are some strange choices in there, but I'm not going to say any more here. I take it I wasn't the only one to be refreshing the GRA homepage, then?

There are some strange choices in there, but I'm not going to say any more here. I take it I wasn't the only one to be refreshing the GRA homepage, then? Definitely weren't the only one refreshing It's just that Female Actor in a musical one that has me puzzled - all the others for me are pretty much self explanatory. Um actually just realised this and how the heck I didn't realise it before - wtf are Tom Burlinson and Reg Livermore? Are they going to get a special award on the night (like the Cabaret cast did last year - but even they were eligible for noms)

There were a few notable omissions in there, and some surprising inclusions. That's always going to be the way, but some people who I was certain would be nominated aren't to be seen. At least David got a nom for Carousel. They couldn't possibly ignore him after he carried the show like that.
Not at all surprised to see the Producers dominating things, though.
