Good thing I saw it when Todd was in it... and it was the real show, not the Americanised version...

I think Hugh will do a better job, certainly he can sing/act it better. I don't think ticket prices will be astronomically high, certainly no higher than The Lion King. The production costs won't be enormous as they'll use the U.S sets and costumes, and it's only for 9 weeks. I think Hugh just wants to play to a home crowd so he'd make some concessions and Sydney was where the show did best.

Any truth to the rumours that they're gonna bring over some of the American leads? I wouldn't think so, and usually wouldn't want them to, but I could be swayed if they can lure SJB

Both Qantas (www.showbiz.com.au) and Virgin Blue (www.bluetix.com.au) have added "The Boy From Oz" to their waitlist register for next year.
You can register your interest now, and they will contact you when pre-sale tickets are released. You don't have to fly with the airlines, but you can get very good seats through them.
I registered some weeks ago, this is a show I don't want to miss.
Cheers MuLo
