From the Daily Telegraph:
CAMP classic The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is being turned into a stage blockbuster and will open in Australia next year.
The $8 million musical will feature a huge cast, lavish sets and outrageous costumes.
Writers are adapting for the stage the hit 1994 movie which starred Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving and Bill Hunter.
The hilarious tale of two drag queens and a transsexual who travel by bus from Sydney to perform a drag show in Alice Springs, enhanced by a soundtrack of mostly ABBA songs, was popular throughout the world.
And the battle is already on between Sydney and Melbourne for opening night rights, although neither city will see the musical until the end of next year.

Original score or the same songs as the movie?
I'm guessing the latter.
