Trust me, you'll hear all about it. I feel sorry for the poor people who are reading my rehearsal diary on my LJ. (Those who haven't given up by now, that is) I haven't given up! :DI check it most days. It brings back the buzz of my reheasals. Buff

What's the link to it? I tried that once, just as a personal venting thing but I didn't have anything to write in it. *L* (for looser)

The link to my one, or just in general?
I know what you mean. I can never stick to those things. I'm amazed I've been doing this one for so long.

Yeah yours, unless of course you don't want me to read it, which is fair enough. I had a little look at livejournal.com today, some of those people are insane though.

No, of course you're allowed to read it It's www.livejournal.com/users/talissarocshamYeah, some of the people around the site are rather odd. That just makes it all the more interesting, though ~Julia

Yeah it's true, some people are crazy. Have you read Cassandra Claire's LJ? She writes these LOTR diaries, it's the funniest thing ever. Ooops, OT, sorry.

Yep, I've seen Cassie Claire's LJ I love the VSDs. I haven't really had much chance to look at the TTT ones, though. From what I've seen, they aren't quite as good, I thought. ~Julia

Talissa, Are you starting to panic yet? Opening night is 5 nights away. I assume that this week is all the technical rehearsals and dress rehearsals. I'm getting all excited for you! I wish I could get to see the show, but that's life Break a leg! Buff

Oh yes, I've been right through panic and out the other end. I've stressed about every one of the leads at some point, and every time I sneeze, I'm paranoid I'm catching something.
It's amazing how quickly it goes from "okay, we have a couple of weeks left" to "help!!! we're opening next friday!!!"
And yes, dress rehearsals every night this week except tonight. Sleep's going to have to wait.

Oh wow, I'm so excited/jealous! I didn't realise it was so close, you must be tired, if you yell at us we'll ignore it. In 5 days I'll be in the middle of my exams, I'd give anything to be onstage in Les Miserables instead. Good luck, have a ball! And try and sleep, sure, you won't get alot of it...but try all the same.

Oh god, you serious? Still, it’s Les Miserables! Well worth the sacrifice, and besides, you don’t need to pass your exams. Well…maybe.

It's amazing how much of a routine you get into doing a show, and how much sleep you can do without! My routine was: Get up as late as possible to be at work at 8:30am Work to 5pm Go home, eat tea or grab 30 mins sleep Get to the theatre (eat tea if slept before) Do show Go home, at 11:45pm-12am Start again That was my life for three weeks. Madame Thenardier had it worse. She is a radio announcer on the local station and did the morning shift! She would get home at 12am then had to be up at 5:30am to get to work on time. She did sleep during the afternoons when time allowed Buff

I won't even have time to go home after uni, because the bus to the theatre takes over an hour from my house. I don't mind, though. As Eowyn said, it's Les Mis. And even if it was another show, it would still be music, theatre, musical theatre...I thrive on music. It's what keeps me alive and sane...okay, maybe just alive *g* And the crazy thing? I think I'd happily do it all over again next season (now, see if you can pick the indirect musical quote there ) ~Julia
