Too bad I live so far away, I'd be very interested to see a high school production of such a demanding show and especially considering you rave so much about Eliza. Hope it goes well.

Well the show has now finished. I'm kind of glad because I was getting very tired. The show would start at 7:30pm and finish at 11:15pm! Everyone was blown away by the cast, especially considering they were all students. Eliza as predicted was the star of the show, with the guys playing Col. Pickering and Alfred P Doolittle tied for second. I just have to tell you about some funny incidents. Higgins' head maid was on crutches, so Pickering would help her in storing and collecting them when she needed them. When Eliza's dad comes to visit, she leaves the room. Pickering went to grab the crutches, but it had been realised by the backstage crew that they had her actual "modern" wood crutches as opposed to the older looking ones. So a servant brought them on - just as Pickering had grabbed the others. Pickering just stood, scratched his head, pointed to both, scratched his head again and carried his pair off. It was extremely funny. Then on Saturday, in the sames scene when the crutches were needed, servants came from everywhere carrying crutches - there were at least 6 pairs on stage. Apparently the director had organised it! The girl on crutches just said "Oh you are a wonderful group of servants! I'll use these, thank you!" and picked her original pair. On Thursday, Pickering Higgins' mother and Chauffer were standing in front of the curtain waiting for the lights to come up just before the Asoct scene. After waiting a little while, Pickering gives an "Ah-hem" but nothing happens. So he tries "My, it is overcast today!" As soon as he finished saying that, the lights came on! He gave a little look which said "Damn I'm good!" and kept going! An awesome show, all up. Buff

*lol* Sounds like you had a great time.
How much could you see from the pit? Our pit was pretty much under the stage. Although, I don't think the musicians would have much time to watch in Les Mis...

It wasn't a pit at all. We were sitting to the side, below the stage at the same level as the audience so we got to see a fair bit of it. Only when there were songs or changes of scenes did we have to look away. Buff
