After seeing just one rehearsal, I feel I HAVE to urge everyone to come along and see Nunsense! From November 13-29 at the Malvern Theatre Company which is up the top end of Burke rd (I think #29). The girls are ALL so fantastic, that I really can't wait to see the final product

I'll admit I was almost curious enough to audition for that. It's after my exams, so I just might hop along. Thanks for that Full details as follows; Malvern Theatre Company "NUNSENSE" by Dan Goggin directed by Alan Burrows Venue: 29 Burke Road, East Malvern 3145 VIC Time: 8:15 PM Information: A Musical Comedy! This delightful off-Broadway hit will certainly tickle your funnybone. It's about the efforts of the Order of the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury the remaining four of the fifty-two nuns who have died of botulism contracted by eating vichysoise prepared by the convent chef, Sister Julia. Our five nuns have somehow been spared the fate of the other sisters as they were playing bingo that night at another parish. November 13 to November 29 at 8.15 pm. Matinee Saturday November 15 at 2.30 pm. Gala Night with Supper Saturday November 22. Tickets: $16 ($14 concession) add $4 for Gala Night Contact: Sec. I'd love to be in it but there's no way I'm up to the standard of those girls. They are seriously incredible. It begins as my exams are ending too, which will be interesting I'm on props - not sure how much I'll be needed each night, might go back to front of house if I'm not required. One number that will bring the house down is done by 'Sister Mary Amnesia' who can't remember who she is and is very sweet and innocent...it's a ventriloquist number where she is constantly "upstaged by her own hand!" ;D And a tap number at the end of the first act already looks amazing. There's also a reasonable amount of audience participation, including a quiz!! Come down just for that! And thanks for posting the details as well

Do you do much crew/FOH stuff? You mean in general or...? I just work at the Malvern I'm trying to decide which I like best...it's tough! I guess crew, being involved with the actors and production and having fun, but FOH is awesome as well. I wish I could do both ;D Btw Nunsense also has the added bonus of me singing ;D
