"Is there life after High School?" takes the audience on a journey of remembrance through old high school halls, lockers, friends, and enemies, old flames, forgotten promises and unrelised dreams.
An excellent show well worth a look...Is There Life After Highschool by Craig Carnelia, ISTAHS features 9 actors portraying numerous roles throughout the piece - all reflecting, reminiscing and re-enacting (The 3 R's!) their High School experiences. Act 2 lands us in a series of School Reunions - not just one, but many Reunions all thrown in together. Unlike a normal musical, it doesn't have a linear story line as such but has the common thread of experiences that affected us back then and their impact on how they affect us now. Sounds very deep, but the show is quite funny with some poignant moments thrown in for good measure! And the music is great!
