Haha, nice work.
I am currently making a forum for the PTB Website, AND we have a Shoutbox, yay!

I saw that - I'd never heard of a shout box before. The site is really starting to look good. I like the fact that it gets updated regularly. Buff

so what's the go now? with the rights 'n' all...? Is Michelle right when she claims the "gentlemen's agreement" has been broken? Is it a case of having three big musical producers (Players, LMS and now PTB) as well as the two colleges (thought Hair was a stroke of genius btw) and not enough choice of family-friendly sellable product? Any thoughts? MB

There is a meeting today between the Players and PTB to try and sort it out. As I said in the Tassie Talk thread, I've seen a letter to the Players from Tams-Witmark that no other theatre has the rights to the show, but that also Tams-Witmark have given two groups in Laucneston the rights to the same show at the same time before. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a report in the Examiner tomorrow. Buff

It was closed down due to vicious flaming. I would have thought that adults would have matured beyond petty insults and rumour-mongering, but apparently not.

It's a bit sad that people do those kind's of things. I suppose that's one of the inherent problems with forums - they are too easily open to abuse. Buff

Buff I agree and people forget who is watching and who can be hurt by comments made........No sorry that's why certain comments are made? "Sticks and stone break bones........

The forum was taken down because it was kind of unnecessary with the shoutbox ...
But I recently had to take the shoutbox because some people thought it was a good idea to post anonymous messages abusing PTB and it's members such as Judy and myself.
As you can imagine it's not something we want to see or condone on the face of the website.

Sorry to hear that a few people have spoiled what could be a good thing. Hopefully now you guys can concentrate on getting "A Chorus Line" ready for October! Good luck! Buff

As you can imagine it's not something we want to see or condone on the face of the website. Unfortunately it should also be noted that the stage manager for Chorus Line made unnecessary remarks on the shoutbox about cast members who had left the show. The reasons for leaving should be respected and no big song and dance about it should be made. However it is good to see that the show can continue. There are many wonderful young talent people involved in the show.
