But you do try hard. Bless your little cotton socks. Could you be more patronising?? ;D The Salvation Army band was approached to provide the basis for the orchestra but, for various reasons, have had to decline. Buff

I have heard a rumour today that "A Chorus Line" is now cancelled. Can anyone confirm??? If so, the reasons why?? I have checked the PTB website and all information regarding "A Chorus Line" have been deleted!

I have checked the PTB website and all information regarding "A Chorus Line" have been deleted! I noticed that yesterday but wasn't sure if it was just my computer's internet connection playing up But other than that, I've heard nothing. Buff

Yes, I can clarify.
A Chorus Line has been cancelled. This is due to the shortened time frame after all the rumours business had us out of business for a few weeks. We also didn't anticipate the difficulty in finding a vocal coach and pianist.
We are currently working on an original musical to go on in the Earl at the end of October in it's place.
An opportunity has presented itself however for A Chorus Line to go ahead next year in April.

By "original musical" do you mean someone is writing new songs or existing songs are being put together to form a show, similar to "Music of the Night"? Also, is "Little Shop of Horrors" booked into the Earl for the end of October? Buff

We would be using existing songs and rewriting the lyrics and such. There have been further developments as to the direction that the show will be taking however.
I did wonder about that ... I'm not sure when Little Shop is, but I think they're a week apart.

You are correct. The last time I heard LSoH was last week of October & first week of November. It is officially now 7th to 18th November. Buff
