More names for solos/duets: BJ King Phil Crowden Dwayne Bye The chorus sang through most of the songs for the show last night and they are sounding pretty good. The MD is very happy. Now comes the trick of everyone memorising them and polishing the choreography. Buff

Aah, bless. What would the Society be without Di Summers' choreography?
The ensemble sounds great, from what I heard tonight. Especially for such a short rehearsal period. Good times.

It would have been better with a piano to help us stay in the right key and stick to a rhythm! Buff

*snort* I think you and Lyndella are conducting just fine. You should both push for Assistant MD credits

The chorus and a few of the soloists had a run through all the songs bar 2-3 with choreography last night. All parties were extremely happy with where the show is at. A few more run throughs in the next 2 weeks to polish everything, and it will be great. Tash, how do you manage to smile the whole time you're dancing (even when you look like you're struggling to remember the steps )? It's something Mrs Buff & I always have commented on when we've seen you in shows - you're always smiling! Buff

Buff That is the art of being a dancer - being able to smile even if you don't know what are doing - hopefully the audience is looking at your face and not your feet ;D ;D

Tash, how do you manage to smile the whole time you're dancing (even when you look like you're struggling to remember the steps )? Usually to cover up for the fact that I can't remember what I'm doing! It's something Mrs Buff & I always have commented on when we've seen you in shows - you're always smiling! Hopefully not because I'm smiling at inappropriate times... Cheesy as it sounds, I find it easy to smile and enjoy myself when performing, because it's something that gives me great happiness. I feel comfortable onstage - but in reality it's a different story...

Highlights for me from rehearsal last night were: The new dancer for the opening number.... great smile!!! The excellent arm movement nailed by all involved in Godspell, even the certain person sending text messages while singing in the back row? The impressive smile by Tash in all dance numbers The new look pants by Lock - added a sexy touch to the performance The chocolate eating habits by the MD - is that a problem - should we seek help? ? ;D ;D ;D ;D

The excellent arm movement nailed by all involved in Godspell, even the certain person sending text messages while singing in the back row? I didn't realise that!! We can let a little thing like a rehearsal get in the way of our social life! The impressive smile by Tash in all dance numbers As always! The new look pants by Lock - added a sexy touch to the performance Can't say I was looking a Lock's pants at any stage The chocolate eating habits by the MD - is that a problem - should we seek help? ? It's an old habit of his. Although I'm impressed as it looks like he's getting through a whole packet of mini Kit Kats per rehearsal Buff

Well, it's over! The whole show went really well. The MD was very pleased with how it went. The people who were in the audience loved it. The only complaint was that they wanted an encore! Well done, one and all. Buff
