Just as a short update, the site as a whole is going well. As you can see, the board has passed its 100 member mark, and the main site is also growing, with over 150 bios typed up, and more on the way, as well as a (slowly) growing catalogue of shows that have been here. But this is where I have a question for you. I'd like your opinions on whether or not semi-professional shows should be included in the site. I ask because many of the ones I have in mind are small-scale shows, performed at places like Chapel Off Chapel and Forty Five Downstairs in Melbourne. They'd be things like Tick, Tick...BOOM!, The Last Five Years... I hesitate to include them, but am tempted just because they're small enough that I wouldn't expect to see them done by a commercial company, and often they have actors who have done (or do soon afterwards) professional shows, so I have their bios anyway. But of course, if I do start including them, questions like 'Where exactly is the line drawn?' start arising. So I'm leaving it open to you to discuss and help me decide. Oh yes, and if you go to the main site, I've updated the Urinetown page, and all of the Man of La Mancha and They're Playing Our Song bios are up. ~Your evil friendly mod.

It also depends on you and the amount of time and effort you want to put into it. Personally, I think it would be a great thing to have on the site. As you said, the difficulty is "where to draw the line". Maybe you should treat each show on a case by case basis. For instance, I know in Hobart some shows could be called semi-professional in that a few people either get paid to perform or travel costs reimbursed. But I wouldn't expect them to get on the site as they are really more like paid amateur shows, if that makes sense. Buff

Isn't what's done at Chapel mostly pro anyway. I know it's not Broadway, but I think everyone gets paid. I'd say it comes down to priority. Would you rather have older big shows, or newer small shows.
