Thank you! I guess for Adelaide people like me, going to the box office is going to be pretty impossible and their isn't a web-based purchasing system for subscriptions as far as I can gather. I guess it has to be done via phone/fax etc? Thanks anyway. If I don't sort it out, I will wait until the single tickets are up on the Ticketmaster website. Kath

I usually find mail to be the next-best, if I can't get there in person.
I'd say you should probably get hold of a subscription booklet. That might help you out, even if you end up getting single tickets.

Oh my god! Apparently sophie carter from urinetown is in high scoiety too! And Guess what!? Scott Irwin will be playing George!
Also, on Sophie, apparently she is appearing as the witch in a new outdoor production of into the woods! Did you know her brother Nathan is also a performer- he was in Jolson, Assassins and Falsettos.

Oh crap - that is it.... is anyone going to the Friday night show of HS?
I'm going to that with one of my friends. I'm hoping there's a nut out there who would like to try and wait backstage to get their programmes signed? <g>
Congrats Sophie on getting a part in it!

Sophie's in High Society and didn't tell us? *tsk* Sophie, don't you know by now that we find about these things even if you don't tell us? And Scott, too? Brilliant. I was waiting for him to have a role bigger than the one he had in Full Monty. I was half expecting him to be cast in Eureka, but this is sooner Thanks for the info, Mames!

I'm hoping there's a nut out there who would like to try and wait backstage to get their programmes signed? <g> I'm not but I could come along afterwards and join you I'll see on Wednesday what time it ends (we are doing a back-stage run then too, aren't we??? ) and see if it'd be possible to get from my other theatre back to the city in time on Friday ;D

I didn't even see your post, Nadine!
I was just about to volunteer to come along too, and then I remembered the reason I'm seeing HS when I am. Drat. There's no way I'd be able to get from the Alex in time. Oh well, next time!

Unless you feel like walking down from Sydney Ann, will you see people with me after the Wednesday show still? Or would you rather not scare people away when they see you back on Friday? ~Julia

Ann, will you see people with me after the Wednesday show still? Or would you rather not scare people away when they see you back on Friday? Yes! We are definitely doing that on Wednesday, no backing out!! Sophie, if you're reading this, make sure to usher everyone out on Wednesday I just realised Friday'll probably be impossible too anyway, unless a tram comes along right at the exact second I get to the stop. And then it's still gotta be at least a half hour trip

Ok ok ok.... First! I have to apologise for not letting you know about HS but I only found out a few days ago myself! And I don't have regular access to the net in Sydney. I want to know who else is in it! I still don't know! And like I said, you guys always find this stuff out before I do anyway... And yes, I'm more than happy to meet anyone who can find me after a show. During U'town, I did tend to sneak out when no one was looking.... And with U'town none of us really exited at the Stage Door so I don't know if that'll be the best place to find people but it's worth a shot....! Also, how the hell did you find out about my brother?! Seriously, where did you get that info from? Without sounding bias, my bro's a very talented man...very proud of him... soph

Sophie Carter- are you soph28?!?!?! Is this for real!?!?!?!?! Well if thats the case, you can answer some of my questions!!! Here is a little bit of celebrity trivia I heard- Sophie Carter's here is naturally Brunette! She had red curly hair for many years, then dyed it blonde for her stint as Queenie in the Australian premiere of "The Wild Party". Is that true? Also is it true you have a thing with Cats? Like funny pictures? I have a thing with Cats as well. They make me laugh and laugh! Also is there a recording at all of The Wild Party. I have always wanted to see it and I can imagine you would be a great Queenie. My favourite song is "Let's Raise the Roof" but thats probably because I am a dancer! I can't believe soph 28 is sophie carter...I loved you in Urinetown!!!!! And I kept your interview from the Age. I keep it in my kitchen next to the microwave with my urinetown posters and memorobilia! Soupy Sue for some reason is my favourite character! Please write back, - Carlos Young (Thats my real name!) ;D ;D

Hi there Carlos....
Wow! You really do your homework don't you? I can't believe you know this much stuff.....
Yes, I was a brunette many years ago and yes, did have to go blonde last year to do The Wild Party and yes, was a red head for many years....
The Wild Party was lots of fun. Did it with many talented people in my year at waapa. There was one guy especially, James Millar, who coincedently is starring in Eureka that is soon to be out in Melbourne. Are you based in Melb? You should really get to see it. He is amazingly talented and loves to meet people after the shows and stuff. He's a dancer too so maybe you should try and track him down and pick his brain a bit? He did a great job in The Wild Party. Memorable stuff...
Anyhoo, I'm glad you enjoyed Urinetown and flattered you kept that little thing from the Age.
Speak to you soon....
soph
PS - And Yeah! Who DOESN"T think cats are hilarious@!?
