TPC must must MUST do 'Good Morning Ida May' because I have just discovered the most amazing cast for it But it's also the most obscure musical I can think of so I doubt that they will

Sorry! I'll have to type up the summary. Can't find anything online but I do have the libretto floating around somewhere Anyway. I knew there was something I was meaning to post. I was down at the seaside the other week and along with Melbourne radio stations, there were a few little regional ones, and you know they're always cute to listen to. I had one on once when I was making dinner and all of a sudden the two men began talking about Hugh Jackman, which lead to Gordon MacRae, which lead to Howard Keel and how he'd died and then his films - including Kiss Me Kate. One of the men mentioned how he'd seen a great production of KMK on the stage in England a few years ago, and mused that it was due time for KMK to be done professionally in Melbourne for the new century. The other man chimed in that he'd seen a wonderful professional production of Carousel last year, and the company that did that should definitely do KMK
