Ran into Danny Gibson last week - he said they had 59 people auditioning Ran in Christine Clarke today - she said it's now 79 auditioning! That's a pretty good roll out. Should be able to get a pretty good cast out of that. Buff |

From the names I've heard auditioning, this has the potential to be an excellent production. A lot of the really good performers have auditioned. I didn't audtion because I promised Mrs Buff that, with the birth of Buff Jnr, I wouldn't do any shows this year. I would have loved to have audition! Buff |

I spoke to the MD last night. She said that they had call backs on Monday night, then spent two hours working out roles. Unfortunately, she didn't tell me who got what roles   Just because the people cast hadn't found out yet, was a poor excuse really! When I get the low down, I'll post them. Buff |

These are the main roles that I've found out: Sky Masterton– Jeffrey Clarke Nathan Detroit – Patrick O’Halloran Sarah Brown – Heidi Cooper Adelaide – Carol Devereaux Nicely Nicely Johnson – John de Jong That's a pretty good list. I'm really excited about this show, and I'm not even in it ;D Buff |

I had a phone call from the Director on Saturday morning asking if I would be interested in auditioning for Nathan. The guy originally cast has had to leave due to work committments. I spoke to Mrs Buff, who was willing to forget my promise of not doing shows this year (what a lady  ), but in the end had to decline. I've just too much stuff on already (virtually working 2 jobs) as well as wanting to spend time with Buff Jnr It's really disappointing as I would loved to have done the show.  Anotehr person was auditioned yesterday, and a couple other people have been contacted as well. More details when they come to hand. Buff |
