Please bring a prepared song to the auditions, relevant to the period of Bye Bye Birdie and befitting your vocal range. The style and characters will be slightly larger than life and somewhat exaggerated. Some call-backs may be necessary on the Sunday evening. Vocal ranges are as written, generally between 1 and a half to 2 octaves.

Do you know if their audition/rehearsal venue is the same as the performance venue? Computer doesn't want to load their site

From when I did my Sound of Music audition, I remember it being in a church hall somewhere around Camberwell or Box Hill, I think. I'd assume it'd be the same place.

Thanks - and in the space of posting that question and now, I've completely talked myself OUT of going why must everything be on June 20??

Oh, I know. There are at least 4 auditions that I was considering doing on or around that weekend. I've narrowed it down to two now, which will be at 1pm and 2pm on the 20th. Ha.

Yes, I saw your dilemma! I'm consoling myself with the fact that somewhere else will do the shows eventually, everything doesn't have to happen "now" etc (Just as long as someone else do BBB before I'm too old to pass for a teen ;D)
