I seem to be musically directing 1980s movies at the minute, first "Annie" now....

Performance dates: September 9th-24th, 2005.
There will be an information evening to discuss audition and rehearsal
requirements for Fame as follows:
Venue: Dandenong Community Arts Centre,
corner Walker and Robinson Streets, Dandenong.
Date: Thursday May 12th
Time: 7:45pm.
Singing and dialogue auditions for Fame will be at Eumemmering Secondary
College (Fountain Gate campus, Narre Warren), on the following dates:
Saturday May 21st, 9am-5pm.
Sunday May 22nd, 9am-1pm.
There will also be movement / dance auditions on the Sunday afternoon as
follows:
Baic movement / dance 2-3pm
Intermediate dance 3-4pm
Advanced dance (5+ years experience) 4-5pm.
All auditionees will be expected to attend one of the dance auditions.
There are roles for people of various ages and racial backgrounds. We
do not require any children for this production. Cast members should
have a stage age of at least 18. We need people to perform as students,
teachers, dancers, ensemble members or musicians.
Auditionees for major roles should prepare 2 songs, one from musical
theatre and one pop song. Those auditioning as dancers or ensemble
members should prepare at least 1 song. Please bring sheet music to
your audition - no backing tapes.
Callbacks will be held on Tuesday May 24th, 7:30pm-10pm.
