Ryan here, now wearing my musical director's hat...
Dandenong Theatre Company are still in search of cast for their production of Fame to be performed at the Monash Secondary College Theatre in September
Roles still available include, Miss Sherman, Miss Bell, Mabel and Tyrone

An outline of the characters required:
MISS SHERMAN - Stage Age of 40 +, Able to sing her heals off in a belt, any background.
MISS BELL - Stage Age of Late 30's + Minor Dance Ability, Good Strong Belt Voice.
TYRONE JACKSON - African American Background or pass for African American, Strong Dance Ability, Good Rock Voice Stage age of early 20's, Rap involved
MABEL WASHINGTON - Comical Actress, Strong Belt Voice, Early 20's, Larger Frame
Also Students for the Music Class who can play instruments such as Cello, Violin, Flute, Bass Guitar, or anything similar and Tenor Males would also be encouraged to audition for the show.
Yes it's true.... we're looking for males; who'd have thunk it??
