Auditions for the black comedy play The Anniversary are being held at Newstead College this Sunday, 30 July from 1pm to 3pm.

Presented by: Launceston Players
Director: Jan Gluszyk
Producer: Jack Morton

Performances: October 18 to 21 2006
Earl Arts Centre Launceston
Rehearsals: From August to October.
Cast: 3 men, 3 women - all principal roles

The audition will be open, ie a group format, and you do not need to prepare an audition 'piece'. We will have prepared excerpts from the play, and will be asking all auditionees to read from those excerpts.

Rehearsals will commence on Sunday 6th August; and will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons.

As this show is very much an ensemble piece, we're simply looking for our ideal 'dysfunctional family'.

Why do I feel the overwhelming desire to say "I put the 'fun' in 'dysfunctional'!" Yes yes, I am a loser. Ahem.
