The Michael Ball concert was last night, and although I won't do a full review, (because I'm terrible at them) I'll just say he was in TOP form!! 
He lightened up towards the end, cracking jokes about Perth's hot weather and the rugby league although at the beginning of the show he wasn't particularly chatty.
His voice was perfect, Gethsemene was probably the highlight although Danielle Everett was pretty amazing in AIAOU. (And they shared an onstage kiss which went WAY too long for an onstage kiss!)
But anyway, that's the boring bit! The exciting part is that my friend and I had tickets in row 'R', but after intermission we walked oh so slowly back and found there were two seats free IN THE SECOND ROW! So we plonked down there casually, (although the attendant knew, we weren't overly discreet about it.)
So at the end we got up to dance and I was a meter away from him! He pointed at my friend during a song, looked at us both a few times, (two teenage girls surronded by 60 yr old women, we probably looked odd) and grabbed my hand at the end. I've never been so happy about having someones sweat on me before.
So yeah, that's my exciting night of Michael Ball. I came home so giddy I couldn't sleep till 2 and now I'm buggered.
